About SIL
SIL is a global, faith-based nonprofit that works with local communities around the world to develop language solutions that expand possibilities for a better life. We help build capacity for sustainable language development by means of research, translation, training, and materials development. We want to enable others to participate in our projects, share our knowledge and experience around writing systems, and equip the wider community to meet local and global font needs.
